three-night cruise for two from
Travel Direct!

One of the most exciting memories of
taking a cruise is telling people about your experiences. And our new Guest
Commentator forum is the place to do it . Maybe it's about the people you met,
or a terrific dinner you had onboard or ashore, or a great "find" that you think
people would love to hear about. Maybe it’s just a good story, about what
happened when you took your trip. Maybe it’s a unique photograph. A photo taken
sometime on your trip is a must. So send us the best pictures you've got. We'll
choose one to publish if you are the winner. |
Some ground rules....
If your response is the best and significantly unique, among those we receive
between September 1, 2007, and November 30, 2008, you’ll win a win a three-night
Bahamas or Baja cruise for two from Travel Direct Corporation. The prize
includes the cruise fare based on a minimum inside cabin, port charges and
government taxes. Nothing else. You will have to find your own way to the ship
and back home. Airfare or motor coach transfers to and from the pier are not
included. All other expenses are the winner's responsibility. Valid between
September 2007 and November 2008. Blackout dates apply. Once a reservation for
the winner is made, no changes will allowed. Trip is valued at $350.00 per
person. Winner will be notified by telephone. By entering this contest, all
entries agree that sponsors have the sole right to decide all disputes arising
from the contest and their determination of the winner is final. Winners must be
at least 21 years of age; all travel is based upon availability; trips are non
transferable and not redeemable for cash; all decisions are final.
How best to write your story...
Keep it brief (250 words max). We may not be able include everything you wrote,
and we reserve the right to edit what you wrote. And once you send it in to us,
it becomes our property. Include a phone number for any establishment, such as a
restaurant, gift shop or tour excursion company that you mention.
Pictures.....
You
need to send us digital pictures, sized no larger than 3” by 5”, and send them
as a JPEG, or GIF file. Be sure to properly label/identify each photo. If all
you have are prints or slides, get your local photo service shop to put them on
a disc for you. That way you can send them along with your story via e-mail. All
photo's become our property and cannot be returned. So, don't send us any
photo's you don't want the world to see! If you and someone else are in the
shots, as long as you tell us who, what, where and when it was taken, that's ok.
Information we need....
Be
sure to include your phone number, your name, the State you are from, the month
and year of your cruise, cruise ship and destination of your cruise.
What we will and will not do...
We
reserve the write to publish your story online under the guidelines noted above,
even if you are not the winner. Who knows, you may have a story of interest to
others, even though yours was not judged the best. Unfortunately, we won't be
able to pay you and you won't win any prize if you story isn't judged the best.
If we publish your story, we will not publish your address or phone number. Only
your name, the State you are from, the month and year of your cruise, cruise
ship and destination will be noted.
If
the judges feel that from all the stories submitted, none are significantly
unique to be worthy of the prize, well then, no winner will be declared. So,
take your time and write a great story, as good, may not be enough to win. We
would love to give the cruise away.
